Moving from Los Angeles to Nevada for the no-income-tax life and housing that goes further? Vegas and Reno are two completely different moves. We handle both with our own crews, no brokers, and a flat price you see before you commit.
Nevada is one of the most common out-of-state moves out of LA, and the draw is easy to see: no state income tax, housing that costs less than California, and two very different cities to land in depending on what you’re after. But “moving to Nevada” isn’t one job. A flat four-hour desert run to Las Vegas and a 470-mile haul over the Sierra to Reno are planned differently, priced differently, and need different things on moving day. We run moves all over the state with our own crews and trucks, loading in LA and unloading in Nevada with the same team the whole way. No brokers, no handing your things off to another company at the state line.

Las Vegas and Henderson sit about 270 miles east on the I-15, a flat desert run of roughly four hours. This is the busier of the two, a mix of Strip-area condos and master-planned suburbs out in the valley, and the planning is mostly about heat and timing the weekend traffic.
Reno is the longer haul, around 470 miles north, up the I-5 and over the Sierra Nevada. It’s mountain country, which means winter weather is part of the planning, and it’s drawn a lot of tech and Bay Area transplants. Smaller Nevada towns in between, we cover too. Tell us the destination and we’ll walk you through the drive and the timing.

A to Z Packing
A long-distance move is priced on how much you’re moving and how far, plus packing and the access at both ends, not by the hour like a local job. A move to Las Vegas and a move to Reno come out differently mostly because of the distance, so your destination and home size together drive the number. We won’t quote it blind over the phone.
We go through your inventory first, then give you a flat price that holds, with nothing added at delivery. Pack yourself instead of adding full packing to bring it down, and leave behind what you don’t want to pay to move across the state line. For general pricing, see our rates page.
Upfront pricing, licensed crews, your own team start to finish
Every LA to Nevada move covers the whole job: furniture apart and back together, wrapping and padding, loading, the drive, and placing everything room by room at the Nevada end. Pianos, antiques, and fragile pieces go to crews who handle them regularly, and we load with Nevada’s heat or the Sierra cold in mind depending on where you’re going. Add packing, full or partial, if you’d rather not box things yourself.
Headed somewhere else out of LA? We also run routes to Phoenix, San Diego, and San Francisco. See all destinations.

Most often Las Vegas, Henderson, and Reno, plus smaller towns in between. Las Vegas is about 270 miles east; Reno is about 470 miles north over the Sierra.
They’re different jobs. Vegas is a flat desert run where heat and weekend traffic are the planning points. Reno is longer and crosses the Sierra, so mountain weather, especially in winter, becomes part of it.
It depends on how much you’re moving, the destination, and the services you need, not an hourly rate. A Vegas move and a Reno move price differently because of distance. You get a flat price upfront once we’ve gone through your inventory.
It runs on a window that depends on the destination. A dedicated truck to Las Vegas is quick; Reno takes a bit longer, especially if the Sierra passes are a factor in winter. We confirm your timing before the move.
