Full packing. We pack the entire home — kitchen, closets, bedrooms, bathrooms, garage, everything. You point at the house and leave. This is what people book when the move is large, the timeline is short, or the idea of wrapping ninety plates individually is genuinely unbearable.
Partial packing. Most common in practice. You handle the clothes and the books; we do the kitchen, the glassware, the artwork, the electronics, the things where a wrong wrap costs real money. It’s a way to keep the cost down without gambling on the items you actually care about.
Fragile-only. Sometimes it’s one room, or one cabinet, or the framed pieces on the wall. We’ll do that alone — mirrors, glassware, dishes, artwork, electronics, antiques — and leave the rest to you.
Unpacking. After delivery, we can open boxes, place items in the right rooms, and take the empty cardboard away with us. Worth mentioning when you book so it’s scheduled rather than squeezed in at the end of a long day.
We bring everything: moving boxes sized for what goes in them, wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes stay hung, packing paper, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, blankets, and tape. You don’t source anything, and you don’t end up with fourteen unused boxes in the garage afterwards.
Before anything gets boxed, we sort — by fragility, by room, and by priority. Fragile pieces need different materials than clothes. Each box is tagged with the room it came from. And essentials get packed so you can find them on the first night: tell us what you’ll need immediately and it doesn’t end up buried.
Technique depends on the item. Dishes go vertically rather than stacked flat, glassware gets individual paper wrapping, framed art and mirrors are protected on both faces. Liquids are sealed in shrink film so a leak doesn’t ruin what’s beside them, upholstered furniture is stretch-wrapped, and oversized pieces come apart with each part packed separately. Long-distance shipments get more protection than local ones — more road and more handling means packing that has to hold up longer.

Packing is quoted separately from the move itself, based on home size, how much of it you want packed, and what’s in it. Across the LA market, professional packing for a full home is quoted separately based on home size, with most jobs landing near the middle. Partial packing is meaningfully less — you’re paying for the rooms that need it rather than the whole house.
We tell you what’s included and what costs extra before we start, and materials are part of the quote rather than a line item that appears at the end. If you want a firmer number, tell us the home size and which rooms you want covered.
Timing matters more than people think. Packing normally happens the day before the move, so moving day starts with a truck being loaded rather than a kitchen being boxed. Large homes may need two days. Peak season runs May through September and books out first — if your date is fixed, book the packing when you book the move, not after.

Packing is usually booked alongside a local move or a long-distance relocation — but it doesn’t have to be. Renting your own truck? Book packing on its own, or add labor-only movers to load it. Going into storage instead? We pack for storage in transit and long-term storage, where packing quality matters more because things sit longer. Office packing runs through our commercial movers.

A one-bedroom is usually a few hours. A three or four-bedroom home is a full day, sometimes two. We schedule it the day before the move so moving day isn’t spent packing.
That’s the most common request we get. Partial packing covers whichever rooms or items you want and leaves the rest to you.
That’s fine. Worth knowing that boxes packed by the customer are generally treated differently from professionally packed ones when it comes to coverage — our booking agent will explain how that works for your move.
