Homes, condos, and apartments across Brentwood — from the flats to Wilshire high-rises, handled by our own crews.
Brentwood is one of the Westside's most sought-after places to live, and its housing is a real mix: single-family homes in the flats south of Sunset, condos and rental apartments along Barrington and Wilshire, and larger properties up toward the canyons. That variety is the whole story of moving here — a studio near Brentwood Village and a house off San Vicente are very different jobs. Gentlemen's Moving handles all of them with our own crews and trucks, planned around your specific building and street.

Most Brentwood moves fall into one of two camps, and we handle them differently.
Apartments and condos. A big share of Brentwood is rental and condo living, especially around Barrington, Wilshire, and Brentwood Village. These moves live and die on building logistics: elevator reservations, a certificate of insurance the building wants on file, set move-in windows, and loading zones that aren’t always near the door. We sort the building requirements ahead of time so the crew isn’t waiting in a lobby while your reserved window ticks away. Third-floor walk-ups are common too, and we staff those for what they actually are rather than sending a two-person crew and hoping.
Houses in the flats and canyons. Single-family homes off San Vicente and up toward the hills are a different job — more volume, more furniture to disassemble, sometimes a longer carry from the street. We bring the right crew size and the right truck for the block, and disassembly and reassembly are part of the move, not an extra.
Whichever yours is, telling us the building or street at booking is what lets us plan it properly.
Brentwood’s main arteries — Wilshire, San Vicente, Sunset, Barrington — move a lot of traffic, and San Vicente’s landscaped median and coral trees make some stretches tighter than they look. Parking a moving truck legally and close to your door takes a little planning here, especially on the busier blocks and near Brentwood Village.
We look at your address before the day: where the truck can sit, whether the street needs a smaller vehicle, and how the timing lines up with rush-hour traffic on the boulevards. On an hourly local move, a truck parked close instead of two blocks away is time that stays off your bill. Tell us the address when you book and we’ll plan the approach around it.
We track our trucks and crews, so everything is delivered on time.
For safety, our trucks are equipped with video recording equipment.
Online driver monitoring helps ensure your furniture is transported as safely as possible.
Not every move stays on the Westside. We cover the wider Los Angeles area and run long-distance moves to any state with our own trucks and drivers. If your move-out and move-in dates don’t line up, storage in transit holds everything until you’re ready, and long-term storage covers longer gaps. Need packing before the move? Our packing service handles full or partial.

Yes. Give us your building’s management contact at booking and we sort the COI and elevator window ahead of the move date, so nothing stalls in the lobby.
No, it’s common in Brentwood. We staff walk-ups with the right crew size for the stairs rather than treating it like a ground-floor job.
Hourly, based on crew size and how long the job takes, with furniture disassembly and reassembly included. You get an upfront price before we start.
That’s exactly what we plan for. We check your address and the street ahead of time and bring a truck that can park legally and close, which keeps time off an hourly bill.
