Waiting on a pod delivery? Driving in from another city in a rental truck and not keen on unloading it alone? That’s what this service is for.
Loading a container properly is a skill — the difference between arriving with your furniture intact and arriving with a broken table leg. We wrap and pad items before they go in, use the full height of the space, load floor to ceiling, and strap everything so nothing shifts on the road. Unloading works the same in reverse: carefully, and into the right rooms rather than piled in the entryway.
Everything comes with the crew — dollies, blankets, shrink wrap, cardboard, straps, tools for disassembly — or we’ll work with materials you’ve already bought. Floors are covered for the duration and furniture is wrapped before it goes near a doorway. Pianos, safes, gun safes, and antiques are all fine, but mention them at booking so the right crew size and equipment come along.
Loading and unloading pods and containers — for transport or storage, arranged to make the most of the usable space and secured properly.
Rental trucks — tell us the time and address, and a crew arrives with the equipment. Items get placed and fastened to prevent damage on the road.
Moving furniture within a home or office — rearranging a room, getting something upstairs, or clearing a space so you can refinish floors or paint walls. Everything comes out, and goes back afterwards.
Garage and storage clearouts — sorting through what’s there and hauling out what’s heavy. Anything you’re getting rid of can go through our junk removal service at the same time.
In-building moves — relocating to another unit in the same building, where a full moving service makes no sense but carrying a wardrobe down a corridor alone makes even less.
We track our trucks and crews, so everything is delivered on time.
For safety, our trucks are equipped with video recording equipment.
Online driver monitoring helps ensure your furniture is transported as safely as possible.
We provide labor-only crews across Los Angeles and the surrounding area, including Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Bel Air, Brentwood, and Malibu. Hillside driveways, permit-parking streets, and buildings with reserved elevator windows are routine for our crews.
You could handle the lifting yourself, or rope in friends — but nobody’s guaranteeing the outcome, and a dropped dresser costs more than a few hours of crew time.
Decided you’d rather not deal with the truck after all? Our local movers handle the whole thing, and long-distance relocations run with our own fleet and drivers. Want the boxes done before the crew arrives? Add our packing service. Loading into storage rather than a truck? Storage in transit and long-term storage are both options.
No — that’s the point of labor-only. You supply the truck, pod, or container, and we supply the crew and equipment. If you’d rather we handled transport too, that’s a regular move instead.
Yes: dollies, blankets, shrink wrap, cardboard, and straps come with the crew. If you’ve already bought materials, we’ll work with those instead.
Hourly, based on crew size and how long the job takes. Tell us what you’re loading and where, and we’ll tell you what crew you need.
Yes, and loading one well is a specific skill. We wrap items, use the full height of the space, and strap the load so it doesn’t shift in transit.
Yes. Pianos, grand pianos, safes, gun safes, and antiques are all things we handle — but mention them at booking so the right crew size and equipment are scheduled.
Yes, that’s a common job. Rearranging rooms, carrying things upstairs, or clearing a room so floors can be refinished.
Yes. Floors get covered for the duration of the work and furniture is wrapped before it moves. Building corridors and elevators matter too, especially in apartments.
Yes. Our crews are trained to internal standards for handling fragile items and covered by insurance. California MTR0191251, US DOT 2399435.
