Office, warehouse, and retail relocations across Los Angeles — planned around your operations, executed after hours, handled by our own crews.
A business move isn't a bigger version of a household move. It's a downtime problem with trucks attached. Every hour your team can't work costs more than the move itself, which is why we plan backwards from the moment you need to be operational again. Gentlemen's Moving handles office, warehouse, and retail relocations across Los Angeles — with our own crews and fleet, no subcontractors in the chain, and scheduling built around your business hours rather than ours
Storage between leases. We hold furniture and equipment when dates don't line up
Our own fleet and crews. One point of accountability, no subcontractors

Site walkthrough. We come out and look at the space — furniture count, IT footprint, what’s staying, what’s being replaced, and how the building actually works. Loading dock or street? Freight elevator or passenger? You can’t quote a commercial move accurately over the phone, so we don’t try.
2. Move plan and quote. You get a written scope with a timeline: what happens on which night, in what order, and what it costs. Phased over several evenings or done in a single weekend — whichever fits your operations.
3. Building coordination. This is where commercial moves fail, and it has nothing to do with lifting. Towers in Downtown and Century City restrict moves to specific hours, require a reserved freight elevator, and won’t let a crew past the lobby without a certificate of insurance naming the building. Dock time is booked, not assumed. We submit COIs to both properties, reserve elevator windows and dock slots at origin and destination, and confirm permitted hours — weeks ahead, not the morning of. Your property manager talks to us, not to you.
4. Execution and setup. Crews arrive with commercial equipment, Masonite boards go down to protect floors, elevators and corridors get padded before anything rolls through, everything is labeled against your floor plan, and workstations are rebuilt at the destination so your team walks in and sits down. Final walkthrough with your facilities lead before we’re done.
Street-level and warehouse spaces bring different problems — dock height, turning radius, permit parking on surrounding blocks. We check the approach during the walkthrough rather than discovering it at 9pm.
Servers and IT get sequenced with your IT team so systems come back up in the right order rather than all at once into a mess. Equipment is packed protectively, transported secured, and delivered to the right room — not stacked in a lobby for someone to sort out Monday. Modular furniture — cubicle systems, benching, height-adjustable desks, conference tables — comes apart and goes back together with hardware kept with the piece it belongs to. Files and records are labeled by department and sequence so nothing gets separated from its cabinet. Every box is marked with both its contents and the room it came from, so unpacking doesn’t turn into a search.
Beyond standard office contents, we handle specialized equipment: commercial kitchen gear, medical and dental equipment, retail fixtures and displays, gym and studio equipment, warehouse racking. Disconnection and reconnection by licensed trades happens before and after us — we’ll tell you what needs scheduling and when.
Businesses we move regularly include law firms, accounting practices, agencies and post-production studios, coworking operators, medical and dental practices, restaurants and food service, retail and showrooms, warehouses and light industrial, schools, gyms and studios.
We track our trucks and crews, so everything is delivered on time.
For safety, our trucks are equipped with video recording equipment.
Online driver monitoring helps ensure your furniture is transported as safely as possible.
Commercial moves are quoted by project, not by the hour. After the walkthrough you get a written scope and price covering crew, trucks, equipment, materials, and timeline — no service charges, fuel surcharges, or long-carry fees appearing at the end. If the scope changes, we tell you before the work happens.
Most business moves run outside operating hours — but not all have to. If closing isn’t an option, we can phase the move around your team so work continues while we relocate department by department.
Warehouse and industrial relocations. Larger jobs need equipment most office movers don’t carry: pallet jacks, hydraulic liftgates, walking ramps, and dock-height trucks. Our fleet runs from 16′ and 20′ trucks for smaller offices in areas with limited loading zones, up to 26′ trucks and 53′ trailers for warehouses and full commercial buildings. Professional drivers and a dedicated supervisor on every job.
We handle business relocations countywide, including Santa Monica, Glendale, Santa Clarita, Anaheim, and Fullerton.
Moving your business out of state? We hold federal operating authority and run the route ourselves — see long-distance moving from Los Angeles. Need crews without transport, or help loading a container you’ve already arranged? Our labor-only movers work by the hour.
If your new space isn’t ready when the old lease ends, storage in transit covers the gap and long-term storage handles surplus furniture. Old furniture, e-waste, and build-out debris go through our junk removal service so you hand the space back clean.
By moving when you’re closed. Most commercial jobs run overnight or across a weekend, and large ones get phased so departments relocate in sequence. Your team leaves Friday and works Monday.
Yes, for both buildings, submitted ahead of the move date. Give us your property manager contacts at the walkthrough and we handle it directly with them.
Yes, coordinated with your IT team so shutdown and restart happen in the right sequence. Equipment is packed protectively and delivered to the right room, ready to be brought back online.
Yes. Modular workstations, benching, and conference furniture are disassembled, transported, and reassembled at the destination, with hardware kept with its piece.
By project, based on a site walkthrough — not hourly. You get a written scope and price covering crew, trucks, equipment, and materials before anything is booked.
Four to six weeks for a full office. Building requirements — COIs, elevator reservations, dock bookings — need lead time, and that’s usually what determines the earliest possible date rather than our availability.
Yes. Storage in transit covers a gap between move-out and move-in; long-term storage handles surplus furniture you’re not disposing of yet.
Yes. We’re licensed to carry commercial freight as well as household goods — not every moving company is. California MTR0191251, US DOT 2399435.
